How long has it been since you worked?

Before entering the Workforce Program, I was unemployed for 2 years. I was applying for jobs-submitting my resume to various employers and no callbacks.

What struggles were you dealing with?

I was frustrated that I was not able to find a job. I was stressed about not having income and trying to meet my obligations. My bills were packing up and I was not able to keep up

Which Stanislaus County Workforce Development Services Helped You?

I was able to enroll into the Workforce WIOA Program and get assistance with upgrading my resume, job leads and a Transitional Work Opportunity at Goodwill which led to a permanent job.

What was your experience?

My experience with Workforce has been great. Everyone has been helpful and friendly I felt “welcomed.”  I have been recommending this program to everyone that is needing help.

How do you feel about your success now?

I feel happy and motivated to continue to reach my goals.  My self-esteem and confidence level has increased.
